Cultural Graduation Celebrations Across The Claremont Colleges
Who says graduation can only happen once? The 7Cs have created events to help you celebrate your accomplishments and the intersecting identities that make you YOU. Join CGU and the other colleges for one (or more) of six cultural graduations.
Native Graduation
April 21, 6-8 p.m. at the Benton Museum of Art, Pomona College.
Designed specifically to honor 2023 Native and Indigenous graduates, this event is run through the Pomona College Office of Native American Initiatives. Find out more information here.
International Student Graduation
May 10, 4-6 p.m. at Albrecht Auditorium, CGU.
The 7C International Student Community Programs Council is sponsoring this event, and you can find out more here.
Black Graduation
May 12, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pomona College Seaver Theatre.
Organized by the Office of Black Student Affairs, this is a celebratory and community-centered event designed to acknowledge the journeys of students of African descent. You can register for this event here, and more information can be found here.
Asian Pacific Islander Graduation
May 12, 4-6 p.m. at Rose Hills Theatre, Pomona College.
An event to honor all 2023 graduates of Asian/Pacific Islander descent. The event will be followed by a reception. More information can be found here.
Lavender Graduation
April 28, 4:30-6 p.m. at Shanahan Auditorium, Harvey Mudd College.
This event honors and celebrates the accomplishments of graduating queer and trans students at The Claremont Colleges. More information here.
Latinx Graduation
May 12, 5-9 p.m. at Garrison Theater, Scripps College.
