Meet the Faculty

The Religion department enjoys exceptional faculty resources. The department not only has its own distinguished faculty but also maintains active cooperation with many distinguished faculty members of the Claremont School of Theology and the five Claremont colleges: Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, Pomona, and Scripps. The faculty listed as "active" participate in the degree programs of the Department of Religion by often teaching graduate courses and serving on qualifying examinations and dissertation committees. They add a great diversity of interests, expertise, and perspective to the study of religion in Claremont and make it one of the most intellectual and exciting places to study religion in the world.
