This community is an extension of CGU’s Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) teaching program in collaboration with the Alumni Engagement Office. We hope to engage you as participants, contributors, collaborators, and mentors with the PFF program in ways that will benefit you and our current students who aspire to teach. Use this space to make connections and build supportive networks for alumni-to alumni exchange, collaboration, and mentoring. Visit the PFF website for teaching resources and to participate in our programs. Interested in joining? Please fill in our membership form and program survey.

Become a Mentor - Opportunities Coming Soon!
We are developing an alumni-current student mentoring initiative for the CAT community where you can be a mentor or a resource person for current graduate students interested in teaching. We aim to develop a tiered program where you can take on a mentor or resource role to the level that you are comfortable with. This includes offering conversations or informational interviews, opportunities for teaching observation or practice, as well as becoming a mentor to a current student in your field. We will recognize all alumni resource support and mentoring on the PFF and CAT websites as well as in selected events. If you’re curious and want to know more or would like to be involved in any way, please contact us.
We Want Your Ideas
We hope to build a community that creates excellent content, shares generously, exchanges and collaborates productively, and mentors each other. We know it takes time to cultivate a thriving community. If you have ideas for workshop topics or resources you’d like to see us develop or if you would like to be a contributor, speaker, or webinar guest, please email us.
