Executive Management Program (EMP)
Application Process

 

The Drucker School seeks motivated executives and professionals for the Executive Management Program. Well-rounded individuals, possessing highly developed analytical and communication skills, make up our student body. Candidates for the EMP must have completed a minimum of:

  • Five years of senior-level management experience.
  • A U.S. Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.

You may request an application to be mailed out to you by calling the EMP Admissions at (909) 607-9043, or email us at emp@cgu.edu. You can also apply online or print a copy of the forms from the Claremont Graduate University website.

The following application materials are required to be considered for admission:

  • A Claremont Graduate University application online or a printed version)[1]
  • Career statement[2]
  • Current resume
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • TOEFL results (International Students Only)[3]
  • Application Fee of $60.00 US
  • Interview

When possible, please send all of your application materials in one package. Some documents, such as official transcripts, may need to be sent directly from your previous institution to Claremont Graduate University (CGU). Please mail your completed application to:

Once we receive your application, we will send you an email confirmation. Once we have received your completed application and have concluded the interview process, our application decisions typically take 5-10 business days, after which we will send you an email with our admittance decision.

 

Deadlines 

The Executive Management Program follows a rolling admissions process, with 6 start dates throughout the year.  We recommend submitting your application as early as possible in order to secure a spot in the incoming class.

[1] In the "CGU Program" section of the application, your Department of Study should be "Drucker Executive Mgt." Select the degree you are seeking: MA for Master of Arts in Management, EMBA for Executive MBA, MS for Masters of Science in Advanced Management. If you are applying to one of the Certificate Programs, you will need to insert the Certificate you are seeking: Strategy Certificate, Leadership Certificate, or General Management Certificate.

[2] The career statement should be three (3) to five (5) pages in length detailing why you wish to obtain your desired degree and or certificate, what you hope to gain from your experience at the Drucker School, your goals, and what you feel you can contribute to the classroom.

[3] The official TOEFL scores must be sent directly from Educational Testing Service (ETS); however, you may chose to send us a copy of your unofficial score report for review purposes only. Official scores will be required in order to grant full admission.
