Biography
Eliseo Dávalos has worked in K-12 public education since 1979. His teaching experience includes high school classroom teacher, Migrant Education resource teacher, and Community College teacher. He has also has taught in the Teacher Education program at the Claremont Graduate School.
Eliseo has been an administrator at elementary and high school levels. In addition to his site administrative experience, Eliseo has held administrative positions as District Coordinator for Migrant Education, Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Director of Learning Support Services. He is currently Director of Pupil Services in the Corona-Norco Unified School District, a position he has held during the last 9 years.
Among other district office responsibilities, Eliseo is currently the district administrator in charge of the district’s Diversity Education Programs. He has worked to design and implement student transition programs at the intermediate and high school levels as well as UNITY classes at each of the district’s 5 comprehensive high schools and 2 alternative school campuses. His work on diversity issues has resulted in the creation of a 3 day district sponsored diversity camp for high school students. To date, over 900 district high school students and 150 district staff and volunteers have participated in this camp experience.
