CGU Summer 2012 Workshops in Research Languages
The CGU Writing Center offers intensive French, German, Spanish, and Latin workshops this summer during the second module to prepare students to pass the language reading exams. The workshops are not for credit, but the reading exam is given on the last day of the workshop.
If you are a current CGU student, to register for one of the workshops, simply go online and register as you would for your other courses. All of the workshops are listed in the Schedule of Classes under "Languages for Graduate Study." If you are not a CGU student, you need to come to the Writing Center, fill out the form for visiting students, and get the signature of the Writing Center Director. Then take the completed form to the registrar and pay the fee. The fee for any one of the workshops is $2000.
