Date GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Summer Visitors are welcome to enroll in CGU courses during the Summer semester.  Consult the Summmer Visitors web page for instructions and the registration form.  Summer courses are posted on the CGU Schedule of Classes.  For Tuition & Fees, consult the table on the Student Accounts website.
July 4-5 Holidays

Attention students and faculty: The campus has announced that, in addition to Thursday, July 4, which is Independence Day, Friday, July 5, 2013, will also be a holiday this year for CGU.  Campus facilities will be closed. 

As with all holidays, courses scheduled to meet on these days will need to make arrangements to make up any scheduled hours lost.

03/02/2013 Priority deadline to be considered for federal financial aid for Fall 2013/Spring 2014. FAFSA form now available at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Date INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Ongoing The application process for international students is the same as domestic students except for a couple of specific requirements such as TOEFL, proof of financial support, and international transcripts. Check out the list here.

Summer 2013

For doctoral students, please note that CGU has established guidelines and requirements for your completion to degree.  Among the changes are the following.

  • A minimum of six months must elapse between the date your proposal is approved and the date of your dissertation defense.
  • All dissertation defense announcements must be made by the Registrar's Office and must provide the CGU community with a minimum of one week advanced notice of the event.
  • Approval forms for your proposal, your defense, and your dissertation require the signature of each member of your dissertation committee.
  • Exceptions to any provision of the new policy requires approval of the Provost.

To avoid lapses in your library and other student services, be sure to register by August 2 for the Fall semester.  This registration deadline applies to all continuing students, including those enrolling in Continuous Registration or Doctoral Study.

Note that the tuition payment deadline is a separate date.  For all students, this date will be September 3, the first day of Fall classes.
Summer Summer is not a required semester for CGU students, but is certainly a way to accelerate your progress to degree.
