Student Services Business Hours
Effective Tuesday, September 4, 2012, the Office of Student Affairs is adopting new business hours in an effort to provide increased availability and access to a greater number of our student population. New business hours are dependent upon the time of the year and defined as follows.
During the Weeks When Classes Are in Session
- Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
- Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
During All Other Weeks of the Year
Student Affairs extended business hours do not apply to the following weeks of the Academic Calendar.
- Intersession or weeks between the semesters
- Final Exam Week (the last week of the semester)
- Thanksgiving Week
- Spring Break
During these weeks, Student Affairs business hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. For the 2012-13 academic year, these reduced business hours apply to the following periods.
- November 19-21, 2012 - Thanksgiving Week
- December 17, 2012 - January 18, 2013 - Intersession
- March 18-22, 2013 - Spring Break
Available Services During Extended Hours
Until Student Affairs is able to assess the demand for service during extended hours, some Student Affairs Services may not always be fully available after 5:00 pm. Documentation and requests for follow-up, however, will be accepted at the Student Affairs reception counter.
To verify availability of a particular service or to make an appointment during the extended hours, please contact the appropriate office before 5:00 pm.
