GRI training to be offered at the Drucker School Jan. 31-Feb. 1

The Drucker School Net Impact Chapter will be hosting a two-day GRI Certified training on January 31st-February 1st, with a special discount available to Drucker alumni, students, staff and faculty. Global Reporting Initiative training is a two-day course that teaches professionals how to craft CSR and sustainability reports for any kind, and size, of company - corporate, not-for-profit, etc. It's also a framework being embraced and used worldwide, as it creates a standard and a common language to compare and discuss sustainability progress. The training will cover G4 - the latest version of the GRI Reporting Framework. Bonus topics include trends in reporting on materiality, integrated reporting and external assurance. By taking this course, participants will:


- Broaden  their skill sets by learning best practices for sustainability and corporate responsibility reporting

- Prepare for the growing trend of integrated financial and sustainability/corporate responsibility reporting

- Learn how to apply the GRI Materiality Principle to an organization's sustainability impacts

- Understand and use the GRI Reporting Principles for Defining Content and Quality throughout the reporting process

- Gain the knowledge needed to be a valued member of any sustainability reporting project team
