Education Professors Cecilia Rios-Aguilar and William Perez have received awards for their careers in research from the Hispanic Research Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association

The School of Educational Studies at Claremont Graduate University congratulates Professors Cecilia Rios-Aguilar and William Pérez for the important recognition they have received from the Hispanic Research Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association.

Professor Pérez has been awarded the group's Early Career Scholar Award for 2013, and Professor Rios-Aguilar has received the group's 2013 award for research in Elementary, Secondary, or Postsecondary Education. This well deserved recognition is yet another testament of the excellent work being done across the school.
