School of Community and Global Health students are very active in various campus student groups as well as professional organizations and the community. Students can enjoy a variety of events in the Claremont area ranging from social activities, academic conferences, and even health and wellness groups. Our nearby Claremont Village offers a wide array of shopping, dining, and live events.
The School and Community and Global Health Student Association
The SCGH Student Association’s mission is to provide resources for the students of the School of Community and Global Health at Claremont Graduate University in an effort to further the academic, professional competence, and dedication of individuals in the discipline of public health. As your Student Association, we hope to provide you with enriching experiences and opportunities to enhance your student and professional life. The Graduate Student Council (GSC) promotes the welfare and concerns of the graduate student body at CGU as well as advocates on their behalf with CGU faculty and administration. GSC also sponsors social and cultural events throughout the entire year to help improve the quality of life for graduate students. GSC consists of four elected officers and representatives and delegates who are elected, appointed, and/or volunteers from various academic programs and departments on campus.
