I’d like to welcome you to Claremont Graduate University. Whether you are a new or continuing student, it is both a pleasure and honor to serve as your Vice Provost for Student and Enrollment Services. Providing quality services that support your academic pursuits is at the core of what our offices do. Our ultimate goal is your success—in your graduate studies, and then in your career thereafter. I’d like to personally thank you for choosing CGU, a very special institution with almost a century of graduate-only education. I hope that all your experiences here in Claremont and the metro Los Angeles area will positively reinforce the important decision you have made to join us.
Hello, and welcome to CGU! Whether you are a prospective student or a current student, I appreciate you taking the time to browse the Student Services webpage. As the Dean of Students and Campus Life, I serve as the primary student advocate and liaison to the CGU Administration. Additionally, I oversee the CGU Apartments and the office of Student Life and Diversity which includes: Graduate Student Council (GSC), Orientation, and the Minority Mentor Program (MMP). The Dean of Students and Campus Life team make every effort to provide support, foster leadership, and enhance the co-curricular experience of the CGU student community. I encourage you to stop by the office for any needed assistance or simply to say “Hi!”.
Greetings! I oversee the Student Success Center (SSC), part of Student Services at Claremont Graduate University. The SSC comprises the Career Development, Digital Learning Lab, Disability Services, Preparing Future Faculty, Student Life & Diversity, and Writing Center offices. The SSC provides students with an intellectually and stimulating supportive environment, offering an array of services that enhance the graduate student experience at CGU by developing the knowledge, skills, and capacities that enable students to flourish. Although the center is new, our goal is to serve as the nucleus that engages students, alumni, staff, and faculty in conversations that foster diversity, cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and student success. Such conversations will afford students opportunities for self-assessment in order to achieve academic success, professional and personal development, leadership development, and collaborative work.
