Claremont Graduate University's Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management is accepting submissions for the 2013 Henry R. Kravis Concept Plan Competition.
The contest, now in its 23rd year, rewards Claremont Colleges students or alumni whose business plan best demonstrates the competitive nature, flair, and general aptitude required of an entrepreneur in today's world.
Entrants must submit an Intent to Compete form no later than March 28. Concept plans and additional entry materials are due by April 11.
A group of students from Claremont McKenna, Scripps, and Harvey Mudd Colleges won last year's top prize of $4,500 for their company, Serengetee, which makes custom, special order t-shirts featuring colorful fabrics from around the world.
Awards are funded through an endowment created by Henry R. Kravis, a founding member of the Drucker School's board of visitors.
Finalists will be required to present their concept plans to a panel of judges on May 3.
