Claremont Graduate University attracts forward-thinking achievers, researchers and writers, scholars and sculptors, policymakers and professors from across the United States and around the globe. CGU is still accepting applications for the Fall 2015 term - start your application today.
The Claremont Graduate University online application is part of the ApplyYourself Application Network. You will create a Username and Password so that you can return to work on your application over several sessions. Your information is transmitted through a secured server and is kept confidential until you submit your application. Only after you submit your application will it be available for review by our admissions staff.
Please note: Applicants to the Master of Public Health program, the Drucker School of Management (MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA, Financial Engineering, and Arts Management programs), and the MA in Art Business with Sotheby’s Institute of Art must complete program-specific applications instead of the main CGU application. See below for the appropriate links:
SOPHAS Application (MPH Program)
For applicants to the Master of Public Health program in the School of Community and Global Health. SOPHAS is a service of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health, which represents the CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health. You will not be required to submit an additional application to CGU directly, submission through the SOPHAS portal is all that is required. Applicants to the PhD program in Health Promotion Sciences should submit the CGU Online Application only.
CGU's non-refundable application fee is $80. Once you have completed all sections of the application form, you will be directed to remit your application fee by credit card or indicate that you will provide it via check.

Alumni who have received a degree from CGU more than one semester ago (with the exception of the summer semester) and are seeking admission to another degree/program should begin by completing the online Application for Admissions form. We will work with your proposed academic department to advise you on additional supporting documentation needed. Please note the CGU retains former student files for five years after the completion of a degree. Alumni seeking coursework for enrichment purposes (not working towards a degree) should complete the alumni registration form on the alumni website.
