The Division of Politics and Economics comprises one department and two programs, the Department of Economics, the Politics and Government Program and the International Studies Program, and offer Masters of Arts (M.A.) degrees, Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees, and Accelerated B.A./M.A (4+1) degrees.
Our M.A. degree programs are offered as steps either toward immediate career goals in the private or public sectors, or toward a Ph.D. degree. Our Ph.D. degree programs prepare students for careers in academic, government and the private sector.
Our 4+1 program offers a chance to earn graduate credit while completing the final year of a Bachelor's degree.
We also offer joint programs with other Schools and Divisions. The joint programs provide students with an unique opportunity to span different disciplines.
