New journal explores the intersection of the arts and STEM fields

Students and faculty at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) have collaborated to launch an online journal that explores the intersection of the arts and the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. The first issue of the STEAM Journal was published on March 13 and is available at http://scholarship.claremont.edu/steam

You are invited to a free launch event on Thursday March 28th 4PM to 6PM at Albrecht Auditorium at Claremont Graduate University(CGU). President Deborah Freund will open the event, Dr. David Drew will talk about STEAM, and there will be art-science presentations, art and more by CGU staff, faculty, students & alumni!!! Then at 6.30PM in Descombes Quad, the courtyard outside Albrecht, a science movie will be shown!
