Drucker School named a top 15 MBA program in Princeton Review’s 2nd Annual Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools
For the second consecutive year, The Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University was named as one of the top 15 MBA programs in the nation for general management by its students. The report was generated by the Princeton Review.
The list, titled, “Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools,” will be published in the April 2010 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine.
“There are many rankings of business schools, but only one that captures the voice of the single most important constituency: students themselves, the paying customers,” said Drucker Dean Ira Jackson. “For Drucker to be ranked among the Top 15 business schools by MBAs for the second year in a row is gratifying and affirms that we are delivering what we promise and what students most value. The global economic crisis cries out for the kind of unique, values-oriented MBA education that Drucker provides.”
The Princeton Review compiled the lists using data from its national survey of 19,000 MBA students attending 301 business schools. The 80-question survey asked students to report on classroom and campus experiences at their schools and rate their MBA programs in several areas. The Princeton Review tallied the “Student Opinion Honors” lists based on students’ assessments of how well (on a five-point scale) they felt their business school courses had prepared them in each of the six areas.
Says Robert Franek, SVP/Publisher, The Princeton Review, “We commend the schools on these lists for the outstanding job they are doing in preparing their students to apply their MBA training beyond the classroom to successful job searches and productive careers. We know this will be particularly meaningful to b-school applicants in these challenging economic times.”
