FE Program Continues to Rise in the Rankings
The university’s Financial Engineering program, which is jointly offered by the Drucker School of Management and Institute of Mathematical Sciences, has made its best showing ever on the annual rankings report compiled by the TFE Times.
Earlier this month the TFE Times, which is an academic media company tracking the progress of management-, finance-, and FE-related programs across the country, released its latest survey of the top 40-plus Financial Engineering programs in the U.S.
This year CGU’s program moved up another spot from 12 to 11. That movement puts CGU ahead of other programs in the nation including the University of Chicago and Rutgers University, among others; locally, CGU’s performance this year lifted it above two Southern California powerhouses, USC (at No. 14) and UCLA (at No. 12).
CGU’s Financial Engineering program is co-directed by Professors Henry Schellhorn and Michael Imerman. The program continues to score well in the rankings; this report from the TFE Times comes on the heels of the news from QuantNet rankings that the university’s program also climbed three spots this year from 27 to 24 on its most recent annual list.
