John Moore (he/him) is an Assistant Director of Donor Engagement & Stewardship at Claremont Graduate University (CGU).
Before joining CGU, Moore served as a financial aid counselor at Pitzer College, managed an education program for older foster youth at a nonprofit called Foster Success in Indianapolis, and was an English teacher at the high school level in Indianapolis and a university in China. His academic interests in literature have focused on the presentation and role of work within contemporary fiction, as well as narrative and structural depictions of trauma in modernist literature.
Originally from central Indiana, he holds an MA in English from DePaul University in Chicago and a BA in English from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN.
