GIS Day is November 20th. Across the world, various agencies and industries present on the use of GIS across all sectors. Los Angeles County GIS Day is perhaps the biggest. GIS Day is an annual event that showcases the power of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and its applications across various sectors. It is part of a broader international initiative called GIS Day, which is held in November as part of Geography Awareness Week. The event provides a platform for professionals, students, and the general public to learn about GIS technologies and how they are being used to solve real-world problems.
Event is 9am to 3pm. Drop in anytime and stay as long as you want. You can explore the presentations & workshops, exhibits & demonstrations tours, LA County department booths to network with users from departments including public health, survey to public works, fire and more. Claremont Graduate University will have a booth on location, drop by and say hello!
