Meet Our Speakers:
Dr. Gudiel Crosthwaite (Superintendent, Lynwood USD): With over 25 years of experience in education, Dr. Crosthwaite has championed academic achievement and equity, earning Lynwood USD national recognition as 2017 AP District of the Year. His commitment to student success earned him the title of Los Angeles County Superintendent of the Year in 2023.
Dr. Darneika Watson (Superintendent, Glendale USD): A passionate advocate for equity and engagement, Dr. Watson has dedicated her career to creating safe, inclusive learning environments. Before leading Glendale USD, she was recognized as one of LAUSD’s Top 10 Principals for her transformative work as a bilingual teacher, administrator, and district operations executive.
Dr. Christi Barrett (Superintendent, Hemet USD): As the first female superintendent of Hemet USD, Dr. Barrett has earned multiple accolades, including being named Superintendent of the Year three times by ACSA Region 19. Her leadership, rooted in her CGU Urban Leadership program experience, continues to make a profound impact on her community.
