Effectively communicating across cultures is both an asset and a necessity. Drawing from her past background as an international student in the US, Rima Shah, Director of the EmPower Center, will lead this workshop on cross-cultural communication styles, assertive and direct communication, and sexual consent. This workshop is a collaboration of the CGU Dean of Students Office, EmPOWER Center, CGU Student Life, Diversity and Leadership, and the Office of Student Engagement.

The workshop is geared towards the CGU and KGI international student community.
