The annual award, hosted by Claremont Graduate University’s Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management, recognizes Claremont Colleges students or alumni who develop a business plan that exemplifies the competitive nature, flair, and general aptitude required of an entrepreneur in today’s world.
A team led by students from Claremont McKenna College won first place in the 24th annual Henry R. Kravis Concept Plan Competition for their proposal for a mobile application that enables you to connect with your friends and follow updates across multiple social media networks simultaneously.
Dhruv Manchala and Varun Puri took first place for their conceptual plan titled Sifty. The two created Sifty, a mobile app that enables you to connect with your friends and follow updates across multiple social media networks simultaneously.
“We sift through unnecessary information on your news feeds so that you can follow the people you care about regardless of the platform they use,” reads the team’s plan.
