Quamina Carter is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and transdisciplinary approaches to data-informed and outcomes-oriented decision-making within higher education and student affairs. She is working to reimagine and enhance the experience of students, practitioners, and faculty. As the Vice President of Student Affairs, Student Services, she supervises the Office of Student Life, Diversity and Leadership, Title IX, Office of Disability Services, and Financial Aid and Office of Student Engagement.
During Quamina’s tenure, she has created a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment that fosters team members’ professional growth and development. She values and promotes the advancement of her team’s career trajectory by providing mentorship and support for new ideas, creative strategies, and intersecting interests that bolster their portfolio. She has implemented wellness initiatives for graduate students and their families, enhanced international student services and is expanding CGU’s veteran student and military family access.
Quamina has an affinity for HBCU graduates interested in pursuing their graduate education in a safe, welcoming and affirming environment and is a proud Tuskegee University Alumna.
