Shelby Lamar currently serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Academic & Faculty Excellence at Claremont Graduate University (CGU). They earned their BA in religious studies at the University of Oklahoma, and an MA in Religious Studies at CGU. Their research interests include higher education program assessment methods, facilitation strategies, and the development of inclusive teaching practices in educational and professional settings. Their work focuses on helping future and current faculty develop specific educational practices that increase equitable student engagement and learning.
